Steps to HOPE received a Summer Intern grant from the Polk County Community Foundation (PCCF). This year, Polk County High School student, Sarah Gray was chosen for the 8-week temporary position.

The 2023 Hope Golf Classic is set to “hit the green” on November 3rd, 2023 at Links O’Tryon Golf Course.

Painter and local artists, Isaac and Cori Klepac, worked together to design and paint a relaxing space for children temporarily residing at the emergency shelter of Steps to HOPE.

The Cliffs at Glassy residents recently came together through the Cliffs Residents Outreach (CRO) and granted $5000 for Steps to HOPE’s summer program, Building Tomorrow’s Future.

Cindy Wicklund, Outreach Educator and Program Coordinator recently acquired her nationally recognized certification through NC Victim Assistance Network (NCVAN).

Steps to HOPE announced its next Volunteer Training to be held on March 24, 2023 from 9am-12pm. Those interested in volunteering at the Administrative Office, Steps to HOPE Thrift Barn, and/or Second Chance Thrift Store are all welcome to join! Brief overviews of volunteer opportunities, the history of Steps to HOPE, and how each role in the organization plays a part in its mission will be discussed.

Steps to HOPE was able to share blessings with families struggling at Christmastime through the Adopt-A-Family Program.

Steps to HOPE was one of two designated charities featured at this June 11th international event and was the recipient of a generous grant conferred by the TR&HC to support its domestic violence and sexual assault programs.
